The University of Portsmouth and Sparsholt College created ‘University Centre Sparsholt’ in December 2016 as the new name for the College’s Higher Education programmes, which are validated by the University of Portsmouth.
Sparsholt College has delivered Higher Education since the late 1970s, and becoming a University Centre marked a significant step in highlighting the academic quality and rigour of its degree programmes. Today, University Centre Sparsholt offers a diverse portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in subjects including Agriculture, Animal Science and Zoo Biology, Equestrian Science and Performance Management, Fisheries, Aquaculture and Marine Studies, Veterinary Nursing Science, and Wildlife Ecology and Conservation.
